This role will start at 6:00 am for training, and will change to 2nd Shift 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm based on business needs.
Starting Pay: $ 22.50/hourly. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
Position Summary:
Performs a variety of tasks in the production and assembly of dental elements. Follows work instruction, guidelines, and/or diagrams. Operates production equipment. Conducts quality inspections to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Essential Functions and Duties:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Operate ovens, milling machines and packaging machines
- Inspect parts as they are produced including microscope inspection
- Ensure part finish quality meets or exceeds requirements
- Careful handling and counting of the parts
- Follow procedures and complete documentation as needed
- Clean and maintain, hand pieces, sandblaster, steamer, benches and stain solution
- Follows safety rules and maintains personal safety and the safety of others
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Record and report information accurately as required
- Perform job duties in compliance with work instructions
- Adhere to all company policies, work rules and the Straumann Code of Conduct
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dental laboratory operations or similar experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to inspect and work using a microscope
- Able to interact with a computer managed workflow
- Ability to work with small, high-quality parts and recognize detail
