As Project Manager GPI&T you will conduct projects assuming full responsibility from the evaluation phase to the closing phase. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in global and local context. To successfully lead your project, the location of this position will be based in one of our manufacturing sites.

In order to strengthen our Global Production industrialization & Transfers Team, we are looking for a Project Manager.
As Project Manager GPI&T you will conduct projects assuming full responsibility from the evaluation phase to the closing phase. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in global and local context. To successfully lead your project, the location of this position will be based in one of our manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out projects by assuming full responsibility as project manager from the evaluation phase to the closing phase.
- Motivate, support, guide and coordinate both global & local project teams in a matrix environment to develop a synergy to optimize the completion of the project.
- Identify project risks and manage preventive actions/mitigations and contribute to continuous improvement
- Build/monitor the global schedule of the project, manage the budget of the project, define targets and set up KPIs
- Define the strategy for the execution/manufacturing accordingly to global strategy and global engineering recommendations,
- Ensure and coordinate preliminary feasibility assessment to drive design for manufacturing/quality
- Transfer the project from global steering to the local team for execution and ensure the successful completion of the project by monitoring the effectiveness of the solution once in place
- Define scope of transfer based on group strategy and global engineering inputs
- Consolidate feasibility assessments with the different stakeholders
- Elaborate and execute detailed transfer plan
- Support and monitor successful implementation according to set targeted performance (COGS, quality…)
- Drive proactive proposals to ensure optimized processes are in place in receiving site
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, with a specialization in production/manufacturing techniques, or a degree/experience deemed equivalent. Several years of experience could be significant and equivalent
- Experience in project management and understanding of production flows & requirements in an industrial environment
- Good knowledge of various methods and tools for problem solving and process improvement (Lean manufacturing)
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals or any other highly regulated environment a plus
- English Level B2 minimum required, C1 appreciated / German, French, Portuguese (Level B1 or higher) - an advantage
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office (including MS Project), SAP or other ERP (an advantage)
- Excellent communication and information skills, comfortable in multidisciplinary and matrix collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills including with external partners
- Excellent ability to manage priorities & timelines, rigorous, precise with a very good analytical, synthesis and data-driven decision-making mind
- Positive attitude, open-minded, passionate, adept at change, ready to make mistakes, take responsibility and learn from them
- Discretion (preservation of manufacturing secrets and ongoing projects)
