Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.

The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. This includes overseeing key functions such as shipping, receiving, order tracking, fulfillment, and inventory management. The role involves implementing best practices in warehouse operations, including 5S methodology, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
As a hands-on role, the Senior Logistics Coordinator spends the majority of the workday in the shipping warehouse, ensuring that all materials meet customer expectations. Reporting to the Manager of Fulfillment and Logistics, this non- exempt position requires a motivated and reliable individual with a desire to make a meaningful impact and advance their career. The Senior Logistics Coordinator plays an essential role in maintaining efficient operations and upholding service excellence.

Essential Functions And Duties
- Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Perform the daily operation of the warehouse including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare final pack-out of customer shipments and prepare bill of lading via domestic and international carriers.
- Maintain lot traceability of products shipped.
- Organize and maintain warehouse, finished goods inventory and inventory records.
- Use forecasts provided by Sales Dept to assist with planning of materials as well as purchasing of packaging materials.
- Accurate raw material and finished goods inventory tracking for monthly inventory reporting
- Conduct and reconcile regular physical inventories to maintain accurate system information
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in the “booked” inventory to the physical inventory
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior logistics team members
- Maintain equipment and supplies in warehouse including with warehouse including forklift operation
- Ensure that all safety guidelines as well as, OSHA, EPA laws, operating and Quality System procedures are always followed strictly, maintaining a clean and orderly environment
- Experience with domestic and international incoming and outgoing shipments, including customs procedures
- Experience with bar coding and tracking, ERP, preferably SAP
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as shipping manifests, logs, and SOPs
- Knowledge of and experience with shipping functions including creating domestic air bills, international commercial invoices, and letters of instruction.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.
- Proven proficiency with Excel, pivot table reports and data analysis.
- Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Other duties as assigned
- Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company
- Stand, Walk, or Sit up to 8 hours a day (with periodic breaks allowed)
- Occasionally push/pull up to 75lbs
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
- Wear synthetic gloves
- Wear toe protection/safety shoes
- Work is performed in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust
- The noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate
- The employee will work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration
- 5 years’ experience packaging, shipping and receiving operations
- 2 years' experience SAP inventory management and purchasing experience, preferably in a medical device environment or other regulated industry
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams with strong customer focus
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in tasks requiring high accuracy
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) particularly Excel where advanced skills are a plus (Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required)
- Proven ability to document procedures in an ISO certified environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous process improvement
- Ability to analyze problems and opportunities and systematically approach them to make improvements both short term and long term
- Ability to prioritize and execute the plan to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills
