We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager of Production with a strong background in CNC machining and make-to-order manufacturing to lead our operations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a customer-oriented mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading production teams, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring operational agility and meeting client expectations.

JOB Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Oversee daily production operations in a make-to-order environment, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a collaborative and motivating leadership style.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing strategies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) to optimize production workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Drive CNC machining operations, ensuring optimal machine utilization, process efficiency, and high-quality output.
- Champion a customer-first approach, aligning production priorities with client needs while maintaining agility in decision-making.
- Manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, cost, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards, fostering a secure and efficient work environment.
- Analyze operational data and use metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Mentor and develop production supervisors and managers, building a strong leadership pipeline.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field OR equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in CNC manufacturing operations and make-to-order production environments
- 5 years experience in a leadership role.
- 5 years of experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- 5 years of experience in budget management, resource allocation, and production planning.
- Strong communication and change management skills, with the ability to drive cultural and operational transformations.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to unite and engage teams around operational goals.
- Proven ability to make agile decisions under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Lead strategic production initiatives in a fast-growing, customer-focused manufacturing environment.
