Position SummaryThe Marketing Communications Specialist at Straumann Group is responsible for supporting the implementation of t he integrated marketing communications strategy for North America in alignment with the Straumann Groups brands. This includes executing integrated marketing tactics - both traditional and digital, both paid and earned - to help ensure audience engagement and ROI.
This position will assist the Marketing Communications Manager team that serve as the gateway for all marketing communications for the North America operation, and who manage projects for the dental (surgical, restorative, regenerative and biomaterials), lab, digital dentistry, ecommerce, education, and practice growth divisions. In addition, this position supports the Internal Communications Manager in the development of internal communications for the sales force and employee base, the coordination of content on a robust internal A / V system, and the shooting and editing of videos internally, and supports the digital marketing, trade show and design teams. Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
Assisting with the development and implementation of copy and content for marketing materials and digital channels; this could include collateral, advertising, social media microsites, the websites, videos, emails, etc., for Straumann Group brandsSupporting the overarching marketing communications strategy covering dental (surgical, restorative, regenerative and biomaterials), lab, digital dentistry, ecommerce, education, and practice growth by assisting in the generation of compelling, engaging content and feeding our multiple channels with that contentSupporting the gathering of information for and tracking of effectiveness of all marketing communications campaignsDeveloping materials, presentations and other marketing communications for launches, campaigns and other product and service marketing efforts as well as sales meetings, tradeshows and events.Creating and maintaining project plans to successfully move all projects forward in a timely, collaborative and efficient mannerHelping to ensure legal and regulatory review and signoff on appropriate materials, and the proper filing of those signoffsCoordinating with the product management team and cross-functionally to teams such as customer service, customer development and sales excellence, to help shape local marketing strategiesWorking with events team to help with show plans and needsWorking directly with the MarCom Managers to shoot and edit video internally to appear on some external channels.Collaborating with the Digital Marketing Manager to help leverage and optimize websites, e-marketing tools, SEO / SEM, digital advertising, social media channels and other digital marketing tactics, and creating and maintaining dashboardsSupporting the virtual reality booth, live social media streaming and social posting, and other duties at major trade showsAssisting the MarCom team with administrative tasks that will allow them to be more strategic in their daily work such as the filing of paperwork, coordination of meetings, etc., as neededHelping to monitor inventory of printed materials and promotional items for teamAssisting with the organization, ordering, distribution and tracking of all print literature; revise existing literature as appropriate, archive outdated versions, and communicate with customer service, order management and the print vendorsAssisting with the ordering of giveaways for tradeshows and other events5-10% travel, including nights and weekendsMinimum Qualifications :
BA / BS degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field2 years of experience in a professional role, developing content, strategies, event planning, and implementing campaigns, either within a marketing department or at a marketing / creative agency2 years of expereince working with marketing and event concepts2 years of experience working with social media channelsPreferred Qualifications :
