Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink pairings for guests.
- Stay updated on beverage trends, new products, and menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- A passion for brewing techniques, cocktail creation, and beverage presentation is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
