The Patel Conservatory, located at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, is currently looking for a Summer 2025 Music Intern (Piano). T his position is ideal for a college student or recent college graduate who possesses a strong commitment to working with young peo ple in a variety of summer music camps and classes. This position provides support to Patel's full-time and adjunct faculty in many areas of teaching and administration of our summer offerings. Interns will be assigned to camps and classes that support their musical education and career path.

Essential Functions :
- Accompanying students and student ensembles in concerts and recitals.
- Playing piano or keyboard in the pit for our student summer musical.
- Teaching students in private and group settings.
- Checking in students and maintaining daily and weekly attendance records.
- Supervising students in and outside of the classroom.
- Assisting instructors with teaching and class preparation.
