What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern position at Stream-Flo?
Key position functions include:
• The main project for the internship shall be to improve technical documentation for standard threads used in wellhead equipment (dimensional standards, stress analysis, and handling procedures)
• Provide drafting support and design layout-related activities to the engineering group by creating 3D models, drawings, and documents as directed by an Engineer
• Ensure that drawings, work instructions, and other published works are in accordance with relevant Stream-Flo Engineering and industry standards
• Design and development of other core technology or parts (application or customer-specific)
• Contribute to product design and evolution by providing application feedback and participating in the design review process
• Adhere to the Engineering Design process and contribute to the continuous improvement of that process
• Gaining exposure to industry standards and regulations
• Other engineering duties as required
A successful candidate will possess a combination of the following:
• Entering the final year of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering specialization preferred)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
