What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Streamline Software Inc?
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team and play a key role in supporting our product implementation and marketing teams.
Over the past year, we completely rebuilt our content management system from the ground up to provide customers with an intuitive, cutting-edge design platform. Now, as we roll our new system out to our “Pro” and “Enterprise” customers, we need a design leader who can leverage their expertise—and these new tools—to create impactful designs for our most valued customers and their websites.
Beyond designing individual assets, you’ll mentor our Customer Success team, sharing best practices and creative solutions so they can replicate your success with their assigned clients. You'll also be a vital part of our Product Marketing team, crafting designs that compellingly communicate our products and features to both internal and external audiences.
This role is perfect for a creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver highly-impactful designs.
This position is hybrid with the expectations to be in our Sacramento office 2-3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Consult with the Enterprise team and customers on design and web strategy for our high-profile customer websites, ensuring visual excellence, brand consistency, and community engagement.
- Provide beautiful design assets to enhance customer website implementations (icons, imagery, assistance with branding, palettes, and logos).
- Identify and design seamless solutions for 3rd party plugins and tools that need to be integrated to customer websites on our platform.
- Mentor internal team members on design best practices and web strategy for customer websites to ensure that we are continually leveling up our design competency and capabilities company-wide.
- Identify new opportunities for features and product updates (If we see that we’re individually solving the problem over and over again, that’s likely an opportunity for the core product to level up).
- Support Product Marketing by creating effective designs for product marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and design/illustration resources to support our Marketing team.
