Streamline is looking for an experienced full stack Senior Software Engineer (CPE) to join our team to contribute to our mission of empowering special districts. This role will be focused on Current Product Engineering, affectionately referred to as our "Plumber" to refine existing features and fix bugs and issues.
This role can be remote, but needs to live on the West Coast, preferably California.

What You’ll Do
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (customer support, sales, and marketing) to refine existing features and implement solutions that address real-world customer issues
- Maintain and optimize our existing codebase, focusing on technical debt reduction, library upgrades, and performance optimizations
- Participate in stand-ups and code reviews, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement

Requirements
- 4 years work experience writing well-tested and scalable Ruby on Rails apps
- Strong experience with Typescript and React or previous experience with Javascript frameworks
- Experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
- Experience with automated testing tools and techniques
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
- Strong experience with AWS / cloud-based infrastructure
