Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Handle cash transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met during events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Bartending experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
