What are the responsibilities and job description for the North Phoenix: Line Cook position at Streets of New York?
Location: 1985 W Happy Valley Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85085
Hours: Our locations are regularly open every day from 11:00am – 9:00 pm.
*Scheduled start times will be earlier due to prep work or as needed based on business levels.
The pay rate is $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Cook/Prep Cook role
• Ensure that all items are prepared to Streets of New York recipes and standards.
• Kitchen and prep areas must be kept in clean and sanitary condition.
• All items need to be made so that guests receive their orders timely and accurately.
• Assist Management in the cost and controls of food waste and usage.
• Some heavy lifting required, such as a 50-lb bags of flour. Additionally, moving boxes of varying sizes and weights with meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc.
Requirements
• Prior cooking experience.
• Prior pizza experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior sub/pasta experience preferred, but not required.
• High School or equivalent diploma required.
• Must have current ServSafe certificate.
Salary : $16 - $20
