Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial roofing sales, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. This role requires a results-driven professional who excels in identifying opportunities, closing deals, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial roofing sector. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, property managers, and contractors to generate sales and expand market presence.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough needs assessments for potential clients. Provide expert advice on roofing solutions, materials, and systems to meet their specific requirements and budget.
  • Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, project timelines, and product specifications. Clearly articulate the benefits and value of our roofing solutions to prospective clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and conditions to close deals effectively. Ensure all agreements are in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and estimators, to ensure smooth project execution from contract signing to project completion.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance our sales strategy and offerings.
  • Customer Service: Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing sales, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of addressing client needs and finding effective solutions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Ability to understand technical aspects of roofing products and services.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
