Competitive Pay : $95,000 - $150,000 / year (Base Bonus) ASE Certification Bonus (up to $10k / year) – Technicians – A Level

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle systems using scanners / specialty tools, vehicle test drives and automotive expertise

Diagnose & repair all categories : heating / cooling, electrical, engine, transmission brakes, steering, suspension, etc.

Complete all repairs as outlined on Repair Order independently while maintaining accurate records of work completed

Complete detailed preventative maintenance reports using digital visual inspections

Maintain communication with the service department to keep customers informed; particularly for cost / timeline of additional services & repairs

Interface with customers to break down technical concepts so the customer understands

Uphold high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing service operations, including protocols for hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

8-10 years prior experience working in an automotive mechanic or technician

2 years of experience in advanced automotive diagnostics

Valid driver's license & clean driving record

ASE Certifications preferred but not required

Have necessary set of tools to perform repairs & maintenance

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift and / or move over 50 pounds

Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head

Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair

Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools

Walk / stand for the majority of the workday

Drive manual transmission vehicles

Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment

Efficiently navigate a computer
