We will teach and maintain the Stretch Zone proprietary stretch methodology to create an enhanced lifestyle for our Members. We will produce a culture of satisfied Members telling their friends about the benefits of Stretch Zone. We will ensure a fun atmosphere and wellness focus at our Stretch Zone studio to provide satisfaction for our Members as well as our Team mates. We stretch as a Team, we clean as a Team, we provide excellent service and wellness solutions as a Team. Together we enhance lifestyles and grow membership to succeed as a Team.

Job Summary :

As the Membership Director, you are the First Impression and the "Face of Stretch Zone" for all members and prospective members. The Membership Director is essential in the day-to-day operational flow of the Studio and delivering superior member / guest satisfaction. The Membership Director must build a relationship by phone and in person with our Members / Guests to ensure they are comfortable when arriving and leaving their complimentary demo sessions and member sessions within the Studio. Through the relationships built, the Membership Director's primary responsibility is to drive membership sales within the Studio.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

Greets all Members and Prospective Members by Name

Stands when a Member / Prospective Member is entering the Studio

Answers all calls within 3 rings

Fields Members compliments, complaints and concerns and forwards to GM

Performs opening and closing procedures when asked

Creates our First and Last impressions (creating a Warm Welcome and a Fond Farewell)

Ensures that our Members are scheduled for their next stretch prior to leaving

Calls and confirms all Members / Prospective Members for the day

Pulls 30 / 60 / 90 (Lost Sheep) Report and calls all Members that are not meeting their sessions per week average and help facilitate their next appointment to keep them as Members

Makes on average 50 calls per day to prospective members

Promotes the value behind practitioner-assisted stretching

Books a minimum of 5 complimentary consultation and stretches per day

Completes all automated tasks that are assigned by the GM and through our CRM system

Sends out Welcome Letters to new Members daily (email)

Responsible for the atmosphere of the Studio. Clean, Organized, Nice aroma, Music at all times

Anticipates the Members / Prospective Members needs and prepares them for their next visit

Creates the Thank You for being a Member Flyer with Member names that sponsored their friends into Stretch Zone each month

Keeps the Our Why book up to date in the lobby with Testimonials

Helps GM plan all activities and events and have all items ready to go to the event

Books Sip n Stretch events for our Members

Books Business to Business events for our Members

Sends Daily DPR (from the day before) to Owner each morning

Required knowledge and skills :

Must be highly motivated and energetic

Must be a good listener

Provides excellence in service with Stretch Zone Members / Prospective Members

Has full understanding of the proprietary stretch methodology of Stretch Zone and the accreditations / certifications / patents for the Franchise.

Loves sharing how we can help improve our members and potential members quality of life

Must have a servants heart

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Effective organizational skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multi task

An understanding of operations

Must be a team player

Must be able to work days, evenings and weekend as necessary

Must love to talk to people about Stretch Zone and how we can help them

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, to walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
