FRONT DESK/SALES ASSOCIATE POSITION:
Hours Needed: Saturday 8am - 2pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4pm-7pm
The purpose of the Front Desk staff is to welcome members and prospective members and to provide administrative support for the studio including but not limited to answering the phone, booking member appointments as needed, making retention calls, texts and emails to members, sending out confirmation text messages and point of sale processing for retail.
Additionally it is the responsibility of the Front Desk Staff/Sales Associate to support the growth of StretchLab's membership by making outgoing calls, emails and text messages to prospective members. Online and on-the-job training is provided for all aspects of the position but proficiency with computer technology is a requirement.
Fitness knowledge or background is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication, and customer service skills required.
- Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system. (training provided)
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 6 hours throughout the workday.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone, and email.
- Must be able to work under pressure at a busy studio.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Occasional local travel may be required for Pop-Up events
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Book and confirm appointments.
- Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studio.
- Greet prospects and conduct tours of the facility as needed.
- Make retention calls to members to check on them by utilizing ClubReady CRM software
- Process sales of retail apparel and equipment
- Make sales calls to warm leads that have requested information (scripts and training provided)
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to provide administrative support
- Ensure studio is clean and tidy.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPENSATION & PERKS:
- Hourly pay
- Commission on retail product sales.
- Commission on Introductory Stretches booked and on New Member Sales
