Fitness Professional - Stretch Practitioner

This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. Candidates must hold a certification in personal training, massage therapy, yoga or Pilates, or have a degree in Kinesiology/exercise science/athletic training.

Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab is a unique wellness concept, and the industry leader in offering customized one-on-one assisted stretching. StretchLab empowers our clients to 'Live Long' by helping them to increase mobility and flexibility, improve sports performance, reduce pain and stress, and achieve better posture. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist Training Program is the only nationally accredited assisted stretch certification and is provided at no cost for employees.

StretchLab currently has over 500 locations open nationwide, and is part of the Xponential Fitness family of boutique fitness studios which also includes Club Pilates, Pure Barre, CycleBar, YogaSix, Rumble, and BFT.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class one-on-one assisted stretch experiences
• Educate, encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through outstanding customer service
• Ensure safety of clients through proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Update client notes consistently to monitor and improve progress
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates and Studio Manager with studio tours and sales as needed
• Maintain strong social media presence to assist with client membership and retention
• Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time

Qualifications

• Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility
• Preferred background as Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist/Assistant PT, Pilates or Yoga Instructor
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients
• Fitness certification and/or Kinesiology degree required
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to attendance policies
• Must be available to go through our nationally accredited Flexologist Training Program, which includes 70 hours of time including online education, 2 day workshop and practice hours (paid for by StretchLab)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
