The role of a Flexologist is to deliver the best one on one assisted stretch experience! You'll help clients reach their flexibility and mobility goals to gain more freedom of movement so they can perform better at work, at the gym and in life. Our Flexologist Training Program is unique, intensive and an important part of every Flex's journey at StretchLab. Come join our team!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver one on one assisted stretch sessions
- Encourage, educate and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions and create a customized program for them
- Build StretchLab memberships and retain current clientele
- Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rule
- Attend Staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Maintain strong social media presence to drive client membership and retention
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for use
Qualifications
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must
- Passion for anatomy, stretching, mobility and flexibility
- 24-34 hours/week
- Available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online instruction, 2 days of hands on training and 20 practice hours
- Required background qualifications- LMT, PTA, Personal Trainer, ATC, Exercise Science/Kinesiology degree
- 1 year of experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands on training with clients
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
- Fantastic communication skills
- Have professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
