What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant - Health/Fitness position at StretchLab - Spartanburg?
StretchLab Spartanburg is looking for a Sales Assistant to help with front desk and sales tasks at a health and fitness boutique studio located on the East side of Spartanburg. This part-time position offers a dynamic opportunity for a driven, sales-focused individual to actively contribute to expanding the membership base for a novel wellness modality, gain experience in business management, and/or build their professional resume.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, high energy, and a proactive "let's do it" attitude. Problem-solving skills and a creative mindset are beneficial. And a passion for health and fitness is a plus.
This role is customer service and sales, so you must be good with people and enjoy selling!!

DUTIES:
- Assist with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Lots of phone calls / outreach
- Help plan and participate in community events
- Book / confirm stretch sessions for our current & prospective clients
- Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients, answer phone inquiries, and oversee general studio operations
- Help build, plan, and create social media content
- Present and sell merchandise in the studio
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- This position offers an hourly base rate of $13-$15/hr depending on experience along with commission on sales and bonus opportunities based on performance
- Complimentary 4x25 Membership included with employment (with 15 hrs/wk schedule)
