Stretch Practitioner / Exercise Sports Science Graduate

We are located in Farmington and seeking fitness professionals to join our team. Our team includes:

· NASM certified Personal trainers with experience working with paid clients

· B.S. Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, Kinesiology.

As an industry leader, StretchLab provides qualified candidates with over 40 hours of paid instruction and training specific to your certification in assisted stretching. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver 25- and 50-minute one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients

• Must have a minimum scheduling availability of 22 hours per week (part-time) with the option to work additional hours based on client scheduling. Part of your availability needs to include the following hours: Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 4pm-8pm, Wednesday 4pm-8pm, Friday 11am-5pm, Sunday 10am-2pm. Additional days/times possible based on needs of the studio. Please DO NOT apply for this position if you are not available any of those days/times.

• Encourage, motivate and implement programming with clients throughout stretch sessions and recording progress through client note taking

• Build client relationships and the StretchLab membership community

• Assess client needs develop personalized stretching programs for each client

• Ensure safety of clients for proper stretch techniques

• Enforce StretchLab’s policies and safety rules

• Attend staff meetings and ongoing educational presentations

• Handle member concerns when applicable

• Assist Studio Manager and Sales Associates with some studio functions

• Contribute to the studio’s social media presence

• Maintain stretching equipment in clean and proper working order

• Assist with off-site engagement events

• Availability for weekend hours/shifts (required)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must successfully complete StretchLab’s Flexologist Training Program, including approx. 20 hours of pre-work, a 2-day on-site, hand-on, in-person training with a Master Flexologist, and 20 hours of post-work

• Love of boutique fitness and wellness environment is a must

• Passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility

• Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients

• Fitness or other certification/degree required including actual experience with paid clients

• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people

• Fantastic communication skills

• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals

• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to client schedules
