POSITION:
The purpose of the Sales Associate is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales while retaining current members. Fitness / Health / Wellness knowledge or background is preferred but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships for one-on-one and group assisted stretch, and retail product.
- Must enjoy connecting with people, and exhibit an authentic, evident desire to help others achieve goals to live their best life.
- Personable and friendly, and able to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
- Possessing excellent, positive communication skills that are able to express authentic empathy.
- Able to learn and use the Club Ready software system.
- Possessing a professional work ethic. This includes being reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to an attendance policy.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow-up, and close.
- Book and confirm stretches for prospects and members.
- Manage the front desk to greet and check in clients and prospects when they enter the studio.
- Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual's needs and wants.
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production.
- Participate in special events to promote the studio.
- Clean and maintain equipment regularly to ensure its availability for client use at any time, and help to keep the studio tidy.
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
