StretchLab is seeking an Area Manager to oversee sales and operations for our existing studio in downtown Charleston, as well as ramp up the opening of our new studio coming to Kiawah Island in March/April of 2025.
The Area Manager role is a key position responsible for the daily operations and strategic direction of our studios. From mentoring and training the studio sales staff, to being out in the field interacting with potential clients and referral sources, an Area Manager’s scope of responsibility is varied, fast-paced, and rewarding!

Area Manager duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and engage StretchLab studio staff to create a fun, caring, and professional company culture
- Provide leadership and drive development of staff by leading by example
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
- Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
- Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
- Coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked
- Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures.
Area Manager requirements:
- An affinity and passion for wellness and team building
- Ability to work harmoniously with staff, clients, referral sources, and the general public
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, punctual, and reliable
- 2 years of fitness sales experience or membership sales preferred
- Candidates with backgrounds in hospitality or F&B are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
- High level of emotional intelligence.
