The Flexologist Role: As a Flexologist, you'll become a vital member of our studio, delivering personalized assisted stretching sessions and engaging group classes that transform our clients’ physical well-being. You’ll inspire, educate, and guide clients towards improved flexibility, reduced pain, and better performance in daily activities. You’ll also play a critical role in building and maintaining client relationships and contributing to our dynamic studio community.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct personalized, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Lead energizing and fun group stretch classes for up to 6 clients.
- Inspire and motivate clients to achieve their flexibility and mobility goals.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety through proper technique and adherence to StretchLab’s guidelines.
- Support studio growth through membership sales, tours, and community outreach.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and optimal functionality of studio equipment.
- Actively engage in team meetings, ongoing education, and training opportunities.
- Foster an active social media presence to strengthen client connections and studio visibility.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Passionate about boutique fitness, stretching, mobility, and helping clients achieve wellness goals.
- Preferred professional backgrounds (one or more):
- Massage Therapist
- Personal Trainer
- Physical Therapist Assistant/Aide
- Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Dance Instructor
Acceptable Certifications/Backgrounds:
Fitness Certifications:
- NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NESTA, NCCPT, NCSF, ISSA, AFAA, NFPT
Athletic Trainer:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, BOC Certification, State Licensure
Massage Therapist:
- State Licensure, AMTA, ABMP, NCBTMB
Chiropractor:
- Doctoral Degree (DC), State Licensure
Physical Therapist:
- Doctoral Degree (DPT), State Licensure
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Accredited Education Program, CAPTE Certification, State Licensure
Degrees in Health/Fitness/Wellness:
- Bachelor's/Master’s/Doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics
Dancer:
- Degree in Fine Arts with Human Anatomy/Movement emphasis
Yoga Instructor:
- Yoga Alliance (RYT 200, RYT 500, E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, RPYT), NACYT, AFPA, Yogaworks, ISSA, CorePower Yoga
Pilates Instructor:
- Pilates Method Alliance, Body Arts and Science International, Peak Pilates, Stott Pilates, Romana’s Pilates, Power Pilates
Barre Instructor:
- International Ballet and Barre Fitness Association, BarreWorks, The Barre Standard, American Barre Technique, Balanced Body Barre
- Hands-on experience in fitness or wellness environments.
- Outstanding communication skills and genuine empathy.
- Friendly, approachable personality dedicated to fostering a welcoming community.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to attendance and scheduling standards.
- Willingness to complete the StretchLab comprehensive Flexologist Training Program (20 hours online plus 2 days in-person).
