StretchMed® in Marlborough is searching for a highly motivated and capable individual to join our fast-growing team as a full-time Assistant Manager for our brand-new location. This newly constructed studio, conveniently located in the Apex center on Rt 20 in Marlborough MA, presents an exciting opportunity for rapid growth and development. No stretching experience necessary, we will 100% train you on our industry leading 36-Stretch Protocol and then certify you as a StretchMed CST (Certified Stretch Therapist). However, a background in fitness, exercise science, massage therapy, or physical therapy is required.
Who We Are
StretchMed® is a 1-on-1 assisted stretching model that comes out of the fitness space. Our purpose is to eliminate chronic pain, increase mobility, rejuvenate, and help you move well! Our proprietary stretch protocols were developed from over 50 years of hands-on experience working with clients in fitness.
StretchMed® Certified Stretch Therapists (CST™) use a combination of PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and static stretching techniques in 1-on-1 stretch sessions anywhere from 1 to 2 times a week, depending on the needs and goals of our clients. All stretch appointments end with percussion therapy, to accelerate and enhance tissue repair by maximizing blood flow and muscle relaxation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stretch Therapy - Performs stretch therapy. Supports efforts to ensure client satisfaction & retention.
- Operational Support - Supports the Studio Manager in overseeing studio operations to ensure effectiveness and compliance with company policies, protocols, and standards set by the local franchise owner.
- Sales and Service Excellence - Contributes to driving sales performance and service excellence. Supports team members and the Studio Manager in achieving individual and studio targets.
- Marketing and Community Engagement - Assists in planning and executing marketing initiatives, including pop-up events, building affiliate relationships, grassroots marketing, B2B outreach, and social media content creation.
- Administrative Assistance - Helps with administrative duties, including lead follow-up, maintaining studio cleanliness, scheduling for clients, participating in team meetings, responding to client inquiries and issues, and managing supplies and inventory.
Requirements
- Certification, license, or degree in exercise science related field
- Ability to learn fast and follow systems
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on servicing clients to ensure a positive, impactful client experience and foster long-term loyalty
- Understanding of sales strategies and customer service best practices
- Must be able to reliably commute to location
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capable of facilitating assisted stretching sessions, which requires manual dexterity and the strength to guide and support clients through stretches.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
- Massage Therapy License, Personal Training Certification, Physical Therapy, Corrective Exercise, Sports Medicine Degree, Yoga Certification, Kinesiology / Exercise Science Degree (Preferred), Group Fitness.
