We also provide parts and service, rental equipment, and training services. Because of continued growth, we are looking for a Warranty Clerk to join our team in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Warranty Clerk role at Stribling Equipment is a clerical position responsible for filing warranty claims with the equipment manufacturer. As warrantable repair work orders are closed by our Service Departments, each warranty clerk is responsible for their respective branch throughout the entire claim process. In this position, the goal is to make sure the Service Departments are funded for warranty work by preparing, submitting, and confirming claim settlements. All warranty commitments and limitations are outlined within warranty statements set by the manufacturer and provided to the customer.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, record, and submit warranty claims within the manufacturer's required time guidelines to maximize collections on warrantable repairs
- Assist internal service personnel on warranty guidelines and gather pertinent information to ensure proper documentation, allowing for accurate claim submission
- Sort and process claim settlements upon receiving receipt from the manufacturer
- Gain knowledge of warranty policies and procedures via available resources
- Provide scrap part notices to service personnel per warranty part retention guidelines
- Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents and updating databases
- Two (2) or more years of experience with warranty claims
- HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Basic understanding of computers and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and other web-based applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, courteous, and customer-centric attitude
- Able to work on-site in our Richland, MS office
