Responsibilities
- Perform routine oil changes and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct tire services including rotation, balancing, and alignment as needed.
- Assist in general vehicle maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about services performed and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to support overall shop operations.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with tire service techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting(50 lbs) as required during service tasks.
- Ability to move in and out of a shallow 3ft pit
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc., for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather conditions
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in all work performed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate who shows eagerness to learn.
