Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain service options, costs, and timelines.
- Utilize your knowledge of automotive sales to recommend additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-up communications.
- Manage customer expectations regarding service timelines and communicate any changes or delays effectively.
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction post-service.
- Stay updated on dealership promotions, new products, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role within a repair shop setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of auto service management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to transmit information clearly to both customers and team members.
- Proven upselling skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, including knowledge of mechanics, auto body repair, and service technician responsibilities.
