Formed in 2013 and based in Savannah, GA, we pride ourselves on being a small, tight-knit company with room to add more.
Our company is looking for a warehouse associate to help keep up with surging demand for our products. Reliability and attention to detail are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate for this position is a steady worker, is reliable, and is committed to picking orders in a timely and efficient fashion.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare outgoing shipments by securely packing and labeling items.
- Use warehouse management systems to monitor inventory levels and manage stock.
- Safely load and unload trucks, operating pallet jacks and reach trucks when necessary.
- Pick orders accurately to fulfill customer requests.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area in the shipping and receiving sections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and efficient processing of all shipments.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating warehouse equipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying them against purchase orders or invoices.
- Keeping the warehouse clean.
- Assisting in different departments.
- Additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of order picking and e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Experience with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory is desirable.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive problem-solving mindset and commitment to maintaining accuracy and high standards.
