Responsibilities

- Supervise dietary staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.

- Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional requirements and adjust meal plans accordingly.
- Oversee budgeting processes for the dietary department, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate dietary interventions for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of dietary services provided, including meal counts and inventory management.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with established guidelines for quality and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dietary management role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of dietetics, nutrition, and food service operations.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a dietary context.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Familiarity with patient assessment techniques related to nutrition and aliment management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

- Certification in food service management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
