This remote Title 1 Academic Administrator Curriculum and Instruction funded position directs and coordinates curriculum and instruction activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8am-5pm central time.

- Oversee the development of course content, skills, knowledge, and performance areas;
- Monitor the implementation of the curriculum;
- Use student performance data to evaluate curriculum materials and teaching strategies;
- Coordinate training to help teachers focus on district-mandated subject matter;
- Research and choose a curriculum, training, and guidance for research-based instructional best practices;
- Oversee the assessment of the curriculum;
- Ensure conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards through evaluation, development and coordination activities;
- Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards;
- Manage teaching and administrative staff; Manage Master and Lead Teachers and programs;
- Help articulate the school’s mission and vision with the aim of ensuring all stakeholders have a common understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively in order to achieve desired results; Utilize/rely heavily upon communication technologies and practices that most effectively support a predominantly virtual / remote work environment;
- Ensure that the school is meeting the needs of students while complying with local, state, and federal laws, including laws pertaining to special education.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, business, education or related field
- Five (5) years of education experience including two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Title 1 programs and requirements
- Demonstrable leadership, organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); generally high level of Web proficiency.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
- Online/Virtual education experience
- This position is virtual.
