Position Objectives :
As a Bilingual Medical Assistant (fluent Spanish) in our endocrinology clinic in Lauderdale Lakes, FL, you’ll be an essential member of our care team, supporting providers and ensuring a seamless, positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Patient Preparation : Welcome patients, record vital signs, medical history, and relevant information.
- Clinical Support : Assist providers during exams, procedures, and blood draws; maintain clean, organized exam rooms.
- Documentation : Ensure accurate, up-to-date entries in EMR systems.
- Patient Education : Share diagnosis and treatment instructions, and provide educational resources.
- Appointment Coordination : Manage follow-ups, referrals, and scheduling.
- Laboratory Assistance : Perform lab tests, prepare specimens, and manage results.
- Inventory Management : Maintain clinic supplies and equipment.
- Patient Communication : Address patient inquiries, lab results, and care plans under physician supervision.
