Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified Endocrinologist to join our thriving practice located in the vibrant Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area. You will be joining a team of three experienced and board-certified Endocrinologists, along with a supportive group of mid-level providers. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to practice in a well-established and growing environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Details:
- Position Type: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Location: Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Team: Join 3 board-certified Endocrinologists and a skilled team of mid-level providers
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in all aspects of endocrinology, including diabetes management, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and other hormone-related health issues.
- Work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment alongside other physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in the development of educational materials and resources to help improve patient outcomes.
- Consult with referring physicians and contribute to the growth of the practice by fostering a strong referral network.
Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
- Active medical license in Florida or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior experience in an outpatient endocrinology setting is preferred, but new fellows are also encouraged to apply.
