Position Overview:
Join a well-established endocrinology practice in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to join our team, working alongside experienced endocrinologists and a supportive healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive endocrinology care in an outpatient setting, managing a range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
- Collaborate with the founding physician, who will be retiring mid-2025, and work with a skilled healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and uphold practice standards.
- Maintain a strong referral network and develop connections with local healthcare providers.
- Assist in managing diabetic patients, including support with Remote Patient Monitoring with the help of Monitoring Specialists and Diabetic Coaches.
- Perform pump training sessions with patients, supported by the practice’s dedicated Diabetic Educator.
- Use the Eclinical EMR system for patient documentation and management.
- Work closely with assigned Medical Assistants to support patient flow and efficient coordination.
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida.
- Experience in endocrinology, diabetes management, or a related specialty is REQUIRED.
- Bilingual in Spanish is REQUIRED.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Comfortable working in an outpatient endocrinology setting.
