Position Overview:

StrideMD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of our endocrinology clinic in Aventura, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient workflows, excellent patient service, and regulatory compliance while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Relations:
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Address patient concerns professionally and ensure smooth communication between patients, providers, and staff.
  • Oversee the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records.
Financial Management:
  • Manage billing, collections, insurance claims, and eligibility.
  • Track office budgets and expenditures, providing financial reports to leadership.
  • Assist in optimizing revenue cycle management and reducing outstanding accounts receivable.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and prepare the practice for audits or inspections.
Technology and Systems:
  • Oversee EHR system implementation and staff training.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues or coordinate with IT support providers.
Practice Development:
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to grow the practice.
  • Build relationships with referring providers, hospitals, and labs.
  • Assist with implementing new services and practice growth initiatives.
Team Leadership:
  • Create staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Address staff conflicts and oversee team performance.
  • Develop and enforce office policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
Experience:
  • 3–5 years of medical office management experience, preferably in specialty practices like endocrinology or internal medicine.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
