Job Description
The Director, Product Strategy is responsible for setting and driving a strategy to provide a seamless multi-product experience for Stride's consumer and enterprise applications. Reporting to the COO, the Director, Product Strategy will collaborate closely with colleagues in IT / Engineering, User Experience, Research, Curriculum, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure a delightful end-to-end experience from discovery, activation, and retention for learners, educators, and families. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the education sector with a strong ability to center the voice of customer throughout the product lifecycle to quickly deliver and iterate on new offerings that add significant value to learners, educators, and the organization.

- Drive the go-to-market teams to define, test, execute, and refine a product-led strategy for growth, adoption, and monetization that considers the enterprise and consumer contexts
- Owns the roadmap informed by in-depth customer discovery, competitive insights, and a strong grasp of the technical requirements.
- Collaborate with partners in UX Research, UX Design, Curriculum, Marketing, and Engineering / IT to understand customer needs and translate them into jobs to be done
- Work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to adoption and take ownership of the outcome.
- Lead the line of business through ideation, scoping and proof of concept to test product hypotheses and reduce product risk.
- Lead the business through the creation of business cases for product investment with the objective being to get them approved by the Stride SVP Steering Committee.
- Integrate existing and new Stride learning products into an intuitive and sticky multi-product experience for a growing audience of consumer and enterprise users including school districts and homeschool families.
- Establish and scale best practices for Product Management and Continuous Product Discovery, including high quality frameworks for documentation and communication.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES : Directly supervises 1 - 3 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and / or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS : Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $139,295.25 - $222,872.40. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
