Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation: Welcome patients, record vital signs, medical history, and relevant information
- Clinical Support: Assist providers during exams, procedures, and blood draws; maintain clean, organized exam rooms
- Documentation: Ensure accurate, up-to-date entries in EMR systems
- Patient Education: Share diagnosis and treatment instructions, and provide educational resources
- Appointment Coordination: Manage follow-ups, referrals, and scheduling
- Laboratory Assistance: Perform lab tests, prepare specimens, and manage results
- Inventory Management: Maintain clinic supplies and equipment
- Patient Communication: Address patient inquiries, lab results, and care plans under physician supervision
