Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive endocrinology care in an outpatient setting, managing a range of endocrine and metabolic conditions
- Collaborate with the founding physician, who will be retiring mid-2025, and work with a skilled healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and uphold practice standards
- Maintain a strong referral network and develop connections with local healthcare providers
- Assist in managing diabetic patients, including support with Remote Patient Monitoring with the help of Monitoring Specialists and Diabetic Coaches
- Perform pump training sessions with patients, supported by the practice’s dedicated Diabetic Educator
- Use the Athena EMR system for patient documentation and management
- Work closely with assigned Medical Assistants to support patient flow and efficient coordination
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida
- Experience in endocrinology, diabetes management, or a related specialty is REQUIRED
- Bilingual in Spanish is REQUIRED
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
- Comfortable working in an outpatient endocrinology setting
