About the Position
Strides Therapeutic Services is currently seeking energetic and dedicated Behavior Therapists to join our Vancouver, WA-based clinic. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents (ages 18 months to 18 years) who are on the autism spectrum, utilizing the evidence-based practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will manage a diverse caseload of approximately 10–12 clients, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one ABA services to clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Follow written treatment plans and collect accurate data to measure client progress
- Maintain detailed session notes and uphold treatment integrity
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors, fellow therapists, and client caregivers
- Bring enthusiasm, high energy, and playfulness to each session
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Active or Recently Expired (3 Years or Less) Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) License in the state of Washington
- If you do not currently hold an active or recently expired license, you are still encouraged to apply and must obtain certification before starting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain a positive therapy environment
- Competence in reading and following detailed treatment directions, collecting numeric data, and documenting session results
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow supervisory guidance
