About the role
As the CRO / Funnel Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing conversion funnels, taking a hands-on approach to refining landing page performance, and automating marketing workflows to maximize efficiency and revenue growth.
Working within the Marketing Team, you’ll leverage data-driven experimentation and buyer psychology insights to diagnose funnel inefficiencies, implement high-impact landing page optimizations, and run A / B tests that drive measurable improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer journey, as well as the ability to analyze user behavior, identify friction points, and execute iterative improvements that enhance conversions. You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and developers to create seamless user experiences and scalable marketing automation.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, combining conversion psychology & strategy, an eye for design improvement, and technical expertise to create high-performing marketing funnels.
Experience with writing direct response copy, knowledge of design systems, and UX psychology is considered a strong bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Monitor funnel performance based on the KPIs established for each funnel stage and calculate metrics (conversion rates, drop-off points, revenue per visitor).
Conduct A / B and multivariate testing of headlines, CTAs, layouts, and other funnel & landing page elements
Implement psychological triggers and persuasion principles to improve conversions and present data-backed recommendations.
Technical Implementation
Build high-converting landing pages and funnel sequences using platforms like Unbounce, Clickfunnels, and WordPress
Implement marketing automation workflows and troubleshoot technical issues affecting funnel performance
Configure tracking parameters and integrate CRM systems (Hubspot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign) with marketing platforms
Funnel Strategy & Buyer Psychology
Conduct comprehensive funnel audits to identify conversion bottlenecks and implement strategic changes based on data-driven hypotheses
Analyze prospect pain points, motivations, and decision-making factors throughout different stages of the buyer journey
Apply buyer psychology principles to optimize user experience, craft compelling value propositions, and align messaging with prospect needs and decision phase
Experience : 3 years in a marketing role with a proven track record in an in-house or agency environment.
Education : BA / BS degree in marketing or business preferred or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Expertise :
Experience with
Building & Optimizing Landing Pages : Unbounce, Clickfunnels, WordPress.
Marketing Automation Software : Zapier, Make.
CRM / ESPs : Hubspot, Salesforce, Active Campaign, GoHighLevel.
Data Reporting & Analysis : Google Sheets, Excel, Google Analytics, etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly to clients.
Receptive to critical feedback and continuous improvement.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, copywriting, strategy).
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity in the financial services industry is a plus
Certification in Google Analytics and or Hubspot is a plus
Compensation
65,000-$85,000 / year
