Staff Accountant - Norican - LaGrange, GA

Job Details

• Perform various general accounting duties involving reconciling general ledger accounts
• Proficient knowledge:
• prepaid accounting
• fixed asset accounting
• reconciliation and ledger transactions
• payroll accounting
• sales & use tax administration
• Participate in month-end closings and balancing of various general ledger accounts
• Assist with inventory accounting
• Backup for Cost Accounting, Treasury, Cash Applications.
• Perform daily production posting
• Assist in yearly functions such as the physical inventories and standard cost roll
• Perform special projects and duties as required
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
• 2-5 Years of experience in accounting preferable in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Good documentation and attention to detail required.
