What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at Stringer Furniture Co.?
We are seeking Delivery drivers with
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver with Furniture Assembly.
- Required Valid driver’s license
- 3 plus years Experience Driving a 20-foot or larger Box Truck.
- 15-20 years in the WorkForce, Born Before 1990
- Candidate that has record of Holding Jobs longer than 4 years at a time.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, Work on a Time Schedule.
- Must be able to read maps,Knowledgeable About the City of Jackson and surrounding areas
- Must be able to work Monday through Saturday. 9-6 or until deliveries are completed.
- Ability to safely move/transport Furniture up to 100 lbs. and more with the assistance of a partner. Heavy lifting required.
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, and walk frequently,work in indoor and hot out-door climate.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with both hands to include equipment and handheld equipment operation.
- Prepare and load the delivery truck. Maintain a clean and organized truck and assigned warehouse work.
- Salary dependent on applicable experience in Furniture Delivery.
