Striplings General Store is looking for a Retail Store Assistant Manager that is talented, energetic, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys passing on our traditions and investing in others. As retail store asst. manager strong leadership skills are essential. Managers and Asst Managers first responsibility is to execute the vision of Striplings General store, taking owner ship of the store, having a growth mindset, and to exhibit genuine care for all team members and guest. Our Leaders must protect the safety and security of our team and the store, they must fully understand all the risks facing the business and be passionate about implementing policies, providing necessary communication, and taking immediate steps to protect our Team and Brand.
Our Leaders are responsible for all aspects of daily operations, shift management, and ensuring that each guest has an outstanding experience. Leaders are expected to energize, motivate, and supervise our Team Members, and they may be assigned to open or close the store, following established opening and closing procedures.
Our Leadership ensures our consistent compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including customer service, food bar preparation, inventory management, team management, financial accountability, speed of service, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers, and other duties as required. Our leaders are also required to work flexible schedules which includes early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Retail Store Assistant Manager Responsibilities and Duties
· Assist with Management of daily operations of grocery store to meet store goals.
· Provide direction and guidance to grocery staff in their assigned job duties.
· Follow and enforce store policies, security measures and customer service standards.
· Provide excellent customer services for sales growth.
· Develop positive shopping experience and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Evaluate performance of each staff and provide appropriate feedback.
· Perform inventory control to avoid over stock and low stock.
· Manage product storage and rotation activities to reduce spoilages and damages.
· Ensure that grocery shelves are maintained clean and organized.
· Ensure that shelves are loaded with fresh products all the times.
· Ensure that all products are properly tagged and labeled.
· Assist in recruiting and training staffs on assigned responsibilities.
· Assign daily workload and schedules to staffs.
· Setup product displays in store entrance and other sections according to merchandising standards.
· Maintain the store clean, safe and appealing.
· Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
· Educate staffs about safety and sanitation procedures.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
