What are the responsibilities and job description for the Martial Arts Instructor position at Strive Martial Arts?
Strive is dedicated to enhancing the mental and physical abilities of our students, focusing on listening to and addressing their specific wants and needs. We continuously educate and train ourselves and our students to ensure excellence in communication, instruction, and self-defense. Our goal is to maintain an environment that allows each individual to strive for and achieve Black Belt excellence. We operate in three locations in the Chicagoland area: Naperville, Bolingbrook, and Glen Ellyn.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Martial Arts Instructor located in Willowbrook, IL. The Martial Arts Instructor will be responsible for teaching martial arts classes, including Taekwondo, Boxing, and Kickboxing, to students of various ages and skill levels. The instructor will develop training programs, provide individual guidance, and help students achieve their martial arts goals. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a safe and supportive training environment and staying updated with the latest martial arts techniques and best practices.
- Skills in Martial Arts Instruction, Taekwondo, Boxing, and Kickboxing
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs
- Ability to motivate and guide students to achieve their goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful training environment
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field is advantageous
