Front Desk Specialists are responsible for providing excellent customer service and experiences to patients. A Front Desk Specialist will be working at our front desk to coordinate with team members and patients to ensure alignment with goals, maximize performance and treatment standards, and ensure compliance with scheduled visits. The successful incumbent will possess strong relationship skills as well as the ability to work within a highly fast-paced and team-centric environment.
This position is for a happy, engaged individual that is wanting to work with a great team that is in the business of helping others live life better! The day involves greeting patients, registering them into Electronic Medical Records, collecting copays/coinsurance and getting them scheduled for their visits. You will be working alongside of physical therapists and technicians along with support from the billing department
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient service skills is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Medical administrative support experience
- Ensure accuracy of insurance authorization
- Effectively collect and enter data
- Office experience, including front desk duties preferred
- Plan and coordinate with site CEO
- Be an active participant in all weekly and one on one meetings
- Plan and coordinate with COO
- Ensure all patient POC are being met weekly
- Analyze individual metrics to better serve our patients and collaborate with team members
- Track, measure, evaluate, and report on progress towards achieving targets while adjusting strategy as needed
- Initiatives are aligned and working synergistically to address individual patients needs
- Effectively direct and communicate support staff as needed
- Share priorities and roadblocks proactively with COO for additional guidance and support
- Know and honor company core values
- Be responsible for directly and indirectly interacting with site team and leadership
- Ensure that all improvements and changes with patients are aligned with their overall rehabilitation expectations and goals
Job Competencies:
· Great customer service and ability to communicate comfortably with patients.
· Ability to multi-task and comfortable collecting funds from patients.
· Help patients understand the importance of keeping their appointments and able to communicate freely with them.
· Must be comfortable working on a computer and be familiar with word and excel.
· Dependability and reliability is a cornerstone to being a part of this team.
· Comfortable on the phone as this position requires reception duties.
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in Customer Service and administrative roles is a plus!
- HS Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:
- Periods of prolonged sitting
- Must be able to be physically present at assigned job location
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk, and walk and assume a variety of positions (i.e bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, crouching, climbing, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching at or above shoulder level, and reaching overhead).

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
