THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Technical Support Specialist (French/English) to join their team in Burlington, ON. In this role, you will provide top-tier technical assistance to customers, ensuring a positive experience while leveraging your bilingual communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, customer-focused attitude, call center experience, and technical troubleshooting expertise (knowledge of small engines is an asset). This hybrid role involves weekday in-office work and remote weekend shifts. ADVANTAGES

  • Hourly Pay: $24 - $26 based on experience
  • Start date Ideally February 15
  • Day shift
  • 6-8 weeks of structured onboarding and technical training
  • Temporary contract for three months until permanent Hire

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers
  • Provide clear step-by-step guidance in both French and English
  • Collaborate with technical teams to solve complex problems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions to build a knowledge base
  • Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email, and live chat
  • Stay updated on product advancements and industry trends
  • Participate in improving support processes by identifying recurring issues


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Minimum of 1 year of call center or CSR experience
  • Knowledge of small engines or related troubleshooting (an asset)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work in a rotating schedule (weekday shifts and remote weekends)
