POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Maintenance Team Leader (Manager) your roles and responsibilities will include :
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and accountability.
- Implement maintenance strategies that align with World-Class Manufacturing principles.
- Build a team-oriented culture focused on safety and operational excellence.
- Drive a safety-first approach, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address hazards proactively.
- Manage the maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations and maximum up time.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce costs and downtime.
- Identify areas for process improvement to drive efficiency and enhance plant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that improve production outcomes.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for spare parts and supplies to minimize lead times.
- Foster open communication and feedback within the maintenance team.
- Support employee development by encouraging training and professional growth.
