Summary
As the Videographer/Photographer, you will be instrumental in capturing high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand's vision. Reporting to the Web/IT Manager, your core responsibilities will include videography and filming, alongside premium skills in video production and editing using tools like Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. You will also leverage your expertise in Adobe After Effects and post-production to create engaging content for various platforms, including social media. Your relevant skills in photography and motion graphics will enhance our visual storytelling, making you a vital asset to our team.
Primary Job Duties
- Consult with clients to understand video and/or photo content goals and objectives
- Plan the video script and storyboard
- Set up and break down recording equipment before and after use
- Operate video cameras or cameras, on location or in the office, to capture important moments or events
- Ensure the proper lighting and sound setup for video recording
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
- Edit video or photos, including sound, to ensure a high-quality final product
- Incorporates special effects as necessary
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques
- Maintain all video and camera equipment and software
- Archive and catalog all footage for future use
Knowledge, Education and Experience
- Degree in film studies, cinematography or related field is a plus but not required
- 1-2 years’ work experience as a videographer and photographer
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Experience in social media and how to position video and photos for the best reaction
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro
- Knowledge of cameras, lighting, sound and other aspects of video production
- Creative thinking with storytelling skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent conversation skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality media
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
