About the Role
The Service Technician works independently to diagnose and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner. This involves analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer issues with heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls with minimal supervision.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a professional and accurate manner.
- Diagnose and perform services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
- Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent premature breakdowns or callbacks.
Skill Requirements
- Possess all valid licensing or certification required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
- EPA and safety certifications are required for this role.
- Demonstrate proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
- Able to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
