Summary
As a Quality Technician at Strong Agronomy Management, Inc., you will be instrumental in overseeing quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is vital to our commitment to delivering exceptional quality in our agricultural services. In this role, you’ll conduct product inspections, monitor processes, and ensure that every product we produce meets the highest standards of quality and compliance with California cannabis regulations.
You'll work closely with our cultivation, processing, and packaging teams to ensure that our products are safe, consistent, and compliant from seed to sale.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and documentation.
- Analyze data from quality control tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability.
- Train and mentor junior staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Support the development of new quality systems in line with CGMP and ISO 9001 standards.
- Utilize calipers and other measurement tools for precise quality assessments.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in QA/QC or quality assurance roles, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards such as ISO 9001.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Familiarity with CGMP regulations is a plus.
- Experience with research data collection techniques is beneficial.
- Proficient in using measurement tools including calipers for product assessments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to sit/stand for up 8 hours a day.
