This key leadership role involves administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, focusing on cost and finance management, human resources, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and patient/physician/staff satisfaction. The position is crucial for promoting patient- and family-centered services across the continuum and enhancing value-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the administrative and operational aspects of assigned departments.
- Manage cost, finance, human resources, and quality of care.
- Ensure clinical outcomes meet the highest standards of care.
- Promote patient/physician and staff satisfaction.
- Lead change management initiatives as required.
- Participate as part of the entity management team and the Shared Governance Model.
- Embrace and promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization and Nursing Professional Practice.
- Focus on succession planning by identifying and nurturing talent, providing support, education, and resources to grow future nursing leaders.
- Assist in staffing as necessary to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of a nursing program (BSN highly preferred)
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
- At least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification required
- Additional Qualifications:
- BSN and experience are highly preferred but not required
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty (if required)
